Welcome Our New Executive Director
Dear Friends of Step Forward Health,
As we look ahead to 2026, we’re grateful for the community that makes our work possible—and we’re excited to share an important update.
Step Forward Health Society is pleased to welcome Jack O’Halloran as our new Executive Director. Jack brings over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience and a deep commitment to accessible, community-based mental health care. Based in Delta with his family, Jack has been actively involved in the community for many years, including more than a decade coaching local minor hockey.
“I’m honoured to join an organization doing such vital work. Step Forward has built a strong foundation of trust and impact, and I’m excited to work alongside the Board, staff, and partners to expand access to mental health support for individuals and families who need it most.”
— Jack O’Halloran
With Jack’s leadership, 2026 will be a year of meaningful growth. We will be launching and expanding programs including Pain in the Arts, MenTOR, and our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Program, while continuing core services like When Love Hurts, 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth Mental Health, and the Step Forward Program.
Your support helps reduce wait times, expand access to counselling and group programs, and ensure mental health care remains available to those who might otherwise go without.
Thank you for walking alongside us, and join us in welcome Jack to the team!
With gratitude,
Meg Neufeld
President, Step Forward Health Society
