Move for Mental Health — registration is now open!
We're lacing up our shoes and hitting the pavement for something that matters — and we'd love for you to join us!
We're hosting our second annual Move for Mental Health, a community walk to raise awareness and funds for mental health care in our community. Whether you've been touched by mental health challenges yourself, or you simply want to show up for those who have, this is your chance to make a real difference — one step at a time.
📅 Date: Saturday, June 13
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM
📍 Starting Point: The Red Barn, Tsawwassen
Here's how you can get involved
✅ Walk as an individual – Register and walk at your own pace
👟 Form a team – Register, gather your friends, family, or coworkers and walk together
💛 Donate – Can't make it? Support a registered walker and cheer them on from wherever you are
Every dollar raised goes directly toward counselling for people who need it but can't afford it — right here in our community.
Professional counselling costs between $150 and $250 per hour — and healing often takes more than one session. For so many people who are ready to ask for help, that price tag is simply out of reach. Your support helps change that.
And did we mention it's going to be a fantastic morning?
Bring the whole family — kids, leashed dogs, and all! We'll have live music to keep the energy up, a scavenger hunt for the kids, and prizes for the best costume, best-dressed dog, and most enthusiastic walker — just to name a few! It's going to be a celebration as much as it is a worthy cause.
Every step and every dollar matters. We hope to see you there!
